Summary

LinProfi is a Chrome extension that helps you track LinkedIn job applications. It does not send your data anywhere. It does not ask you to create an account. It has no backend to receive your data even if it wanted to.

What we collect

Nothing. LinProfi does not collect data on our side. The extension reads job details from LinkedIn pages you visit and stores them in chrome.storage.local, the per-extension local storage area in your browser.

There is no analytics SDK, no error-reporting service, no third-party script. You can verify this in DevTools Network.

What stays on your device

Job titles, company names, LinkedIn URLs, apply URLs, your notes, statuses, priorities, follow-up and interview dates, and timestamps. All of it lives in chrome.storage.local in your browser profile.

Permissions explained

host permission for https://www.linkedin.com/* so the content script can read job postings on pages you visit there.

storage so saved jobs persist across browser sessions, on your device only.

tabs so the dashboard opens in a new tab when you click the extension icon.

Sharing

There is nothing to share. We never see your data because it never leaves your machine.

Children

LinProfi is a productivity tool for adults using LinkedIn. It is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the publication date updates with it.
