Free tool
LinkedIn video downloader: save videos from public posts
Download the video from any public LinkedIn post as an MP4 file. Paste the link to the post, pick a quality, and the video saves straight to your device. Free, no sign-up, no watermark, and nothing you paste is stored.
How it works
- Open the post on LinkedIn and copy its link. The three dots menu on every post has a "Copy link to post" option.
- Paste the link in the box above and press "Get the video".
- Pick a quality. The MP4 saves to your downloads folder.

Questions
Is it free, and do I need an account?
It is completely free, with no sign-up and no watermark. It works on public LinkedIn posts only: if a post is visible without logging in, it can be downloaded.
What video quality do I get?
The qualities LinkedIn itself serves for the post, usually 720p plus a smaller version. The tool lists every available quality and you pick one; nothing is re-encoded, so there is no quality loss.
Why does it say the post is private?
Posts shared with connections only, posts inside groups, and deleted posts are not publicly visible, so there is nothing we can fetch. Ask the person who shared it, or check the post is public by opening it in a private browser window.
Where does the file go, and do you keep a copy?
The file lands in your browser’s normal downloads folder. LinProfi stores nothing: no link you paste, no file, no account.
Can I paste a lnkd.in short link?
Not directly. Open the lnkd.in link in your browser first, let it land on the post, then copy the full linkedin.com address from the address bar and paste that.
Am I allowed to download someone’s content?
Downloading a public post for personal use, like researching an employer before an interview, is what this tool is for. The video or photos still belong to the person or company that posted them, so ask before reusing them anywhere public.
